Winery Review: “Back in Walla Walla, WA for a short
night. Always nice to come back here! Ate at Brasserie four…great resto! This
2020 rosé from 🇪🇸 is a nice summer sipper that shows
aromas of red berries. It’s dry with notes of strawberries, citrus along with a
nice mineral touch and an acidity that’s pleasant. Again, a simple summer
sipper, not much depth to it, that went well with my salade niçoise
nonetheless. 3.4” – Yann Irlinger
Wine Folly: “Primary flavors include Strawberry, Honey
Dew Melon, Rose Petal, Celry, and Watermelon”
I could definitely taste notes of strawberry while tasting this
wine, and it was the first flavor that came to my head. Potentially notes of
watermelon as well.
My Review: A very fruity smell with the main scent
being dominated by orange juice and citrus. At the end I could smell a bit or
green apple which made this wine seem a bit tart. Despite smelling so fruity;
however, this wine did not taste particularly sweet. Don’t get me wrong, I
could taste a lot of fruit, mainly strawberry, but the overall flavor was very
mild with little sweetness. It was a bit one note and didn’t seem like a
particularly complex or exciting flavor. Overall, this wine was very smooth, and
enjoyable and I could definitely see myself enjoying a few more glasses of it
with dinner.
Tasted on its own without food.
